- Health platform data is collected via optional integrations with Android Health Connect and Apple Health.

Health Platform IntegrationsHeartery requests access to specialized health platforms to enhance your personalized experience. For Android users, we integrate with Health Connect to request optional read and write permissions for Blood Pressure and Heart Rate data. For iOS users, we integrate with Apple Health to request optional read and write permissions for Blood Pressure and Heart Rate, alongside read-only permissions for Basal Energy Burned, Active Energy Burned, and Distance Walking/Running.
Providing access to these health platforms is entirely optional. You may decline or revoke these permissions at any time without any negative consequences or loss of core application functionality. If you deny access, you will still be able to utilize Heartery's manual input features without interruption.
The use of information received from Health Connect will strictly adhere to the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Similarly, health data obtained through Apple HealthKit will never be sold, shared, or used for marketing, advertising, or use-based data mining.

Data Retention and DeletionWe retain your personal and health data only for as long as your account remains active or as strictly necessary to provide you with Heartery's services. You maintain full control over your data and can request complete account and data deletion at any time directly through the app settings or by contacting our support team. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will permanently erase your personal and health data from our active databases within a standard 30-day processing window. Anonymized usage metrics may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes to improve the application.
